Site Manager - Night shift - Civil Engineering

Your new company
Your new company is a specialist in the delivery of infrastructure services across the UK. The company is looking to hire a Site Manager to join them on a temporary basis, ensuring the successful delivery of a flagship scheme. This is a night shift position, with a 4-day on, 4-days-off shift pattern.

Your new role
As Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of a major civil engineering project. You'll manage on-site operations, coordinate resources, and maintain high standards of safety and quality throughout.

  1. Oversee daily operations on the construction site.
  2. Manage site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers effectively.
  3. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  4. Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets, reporting to senior management.
  5. Solve challenges and provide technical support when required.

What you'll need to succeed
  1. Prior experience as Site Manager on Highways / Civil Schemes is essential.
  2. Main Contractor working history.
  3. Strong leadership and communication skills.
  4. Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  5. Proficiency in using construction-related software i.e. Sharepoint.
  6. Gold / Black CSCS Card, SMSTS & First Aid certificates.
