Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients, design teams, and statutory agencies.
• Conduct Health & Safety and risk assessments.
• Provide weekly reports to Contract Management.
• Maintain accurate records.

Overview

Expert Construction welcome applications from suitably qualified Site Managers for this vacancy, with the project due to commence in October 2025. This Main Contractor have a large number of projects due to come to site and require Site Managers with an excellent pedigree and the drive and ambition to complete projects on time and within budget.

Project - £40m Commercial new build

Location: Newry

Strong pipeline of work in the Newry / Monaghan areas

Duties to include

• Delivering a high quality finish with zero defects and ensuring the project is both on time and within budget
• Supervising and organising all direct and subcontract staff
• Liaison with client, design team and statutory agencies
• Health & Safety / Risk assessments
• Weekly reports to Contract Management
• Accurate record keeping

Key skills

• 5 years Site Management experience on Commercial or Education projects
• High level of finishing
• First Aid qualification
• Strict Health & Safety
• CSR Gold Card desirable / SMSTS / SSSTS
