Job summary

Rogers McHugh in the UK is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a large-scale dental practice fit-out in Newcastle-under-Lyme. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors, track progress against the programme, and ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout the build.

A strong healthcare fit-out background and certifications including SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work and Fire Marshal are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects.
• Experience delivering healthcare, dental, medical, or high-spec interior fit-outs is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple trades within a live construction environment.
• Excellent understanding of health & safety regulations and site management procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations throughout the project.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades.
• Monitor progress against programme and report updates.
• Ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to specification.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and health & safety inspections.
• Managing site documentation, permits, and daily records.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a large-scale dental practice fit-out project in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

The project consists of a full internal fit-out of a substantial two-storey building, transforming the space into a modern dental facility. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining programme targets, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and health & safety are achieved throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the site on a day-to-day basis throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and trades.
