An established regional main contractor working across the greater London and SE area is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new project in the Sidcup/Bexleyheath area. The project involves a new build apartment scheme, traditional construction, creating approximately 50 new homes. The project is scheduled to commence imminently and is programmed to last 18 months. This role has arisen due to company growth and is an addition to the existing construction team. The position is for a Site Manager on-site.

Your role

As Site Manager, you will be the number one on-site and have full responsibility for managing the scheme. You will be supported by a visiting Contracts Manager and Surveyor. You will join the project at an early stage, contributing to the build programme and design coordination. You will be responsible for all health and safety documentation on-site, as well as subcontractor management and quality control.

Requirements

• Experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager capable of running projects from start to finish.
• Previous experience on similar-sized projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to oversee all phases, from groundworks to external envelope, internal fit-out, and handover.
• Essential certifications: First Aid, CSCS, SMSTS.
