Qualifications

Our client is seeking an experience SITE MANAGER to oversee 3 projects across the South of UK for the next 9 months. For the right candidate, it could lead to a permanent position. You will be responsible for the management of the construction site in order to achieve required project delivery to the customers’ objectives, while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control. You will deliver multiple on-going projects, to the specified quality, the required programme and to the maximum commercial performance. Working closely with the office, engineers and surveyors to ensure that projects are completed in a safe manner whilst customer requirements and expectations are always maintained or exceeded.

What we need from you:

• Considerable experience in Civil Engineering
• CSCS manager’s card
• Working knowledge of NEC contract conditions, CDM regulations and Design Management,
• Programme and Risk Management and cost control including forecasting and actual cost
• IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS
• Good knowledge of specifications and testing regime relevant to general civil engineering
• Excellent communication, people and team management skills
• Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems to conclusion
• Ability to demonstrate the right behaviours and motivate and lead the team
• Temporary Works Co-ordinator
• Knowledge of IT Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Knowledge of JCT & NEC form of contract.
• Passport OR Birth Certificate with National Insurance proof
