Site Manager - Mechanical Background
Location: Camelford, Cornwall
Start Date: 18th August 2025
Rate: 28 per hour
Duration: Initial 5-week contract, with strong potential for ongoing work


We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager with a mechanical background to oversee works on a project in Camelford, Cornwall.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-respected contractor that offers long-term prospects beyond the initial project. The successful candidate will bring a solid understanding of mechanical systems and experience leading site teams on M&E or building services installations.



Requirements:


  • Valid SMSTS certification

  • Black CSCS Card (or equivalent)

  • Current First Aid Certificate

  • Strong mechanical background, preferably within building services or construction

  • Proven experience managing subcontractors and site operations

  • Ability to read technical drawings and coordinate works accordingly

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
