A leading construction company is seeking a skilled Site Manager to oversee residential projects in Co. Antrim. Job description

INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title –Site Manager

Project – Residential

Job Location – Co. Antrim

Salary - £40K - £50K + travel

About the Company

Working with a very busy Building Contractor who specialise in new build residential developments and commercial projects across Ulster.

They have a range of projects on across the Antrim / Down area and tenders out for more work. Projects typically valued over the £10M Mark.

My client has a fantastic reputation and very high staff retention.

The Role

  • Coordination and supervision of various projects as required by the business.
  • Oversee projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors over multiple sites.
  • Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
  • Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, procurement of materials and meeting deadlines.
  • Ensure H&S and Company Policies are adhered to.
  • Regularly meet with Clients and other stakeholders to update them on the progress of the projects.
  • Perform company compliance, H&S and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.

Requirements

  • A Degree in Construction Management or similar Trade Qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing high volume sites for specialist contractors or property developers.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in the Construction Industry.
  • Must have experience managing new build residential developments.
  • Strong awareness of H&S and Health and Welfare Regulations and ability to implement these regulations on site.
  • Engineering background desirable.
  • Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
  • Strong I.T skills are essential. (Microsoft Suite including Project)
