We have a current opportunity for a Site Manager – HSSE (m/w/d) on a contract basis.

Location: Wilhelmshaven
Duration: 18.08.2025-31.03.2026
Workload: Full-time, 100 percent onsite
Languages Required: German and English (fluent)

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the execution of solar power plant construction projects across multiple locations (Germany, UK and Hungary). This role is critical to ensuring that construction activities are delivered safely, on time, and in line with technical and contractual requirements. You will act as the on-site representative of the project management team and serve as the key link between field operations and office-based stakeholders.

Tasks:
Construction Oversight: Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, contracts, environmental and safety regulations, and predefined work packages.
Project Coordination: Serve as the on-site extension of the project management team, providing weekly progress updates, escalating issues, and ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, and budget.
Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and resolve non-conformance reports (NCRs) in collaboration with EPC contractors and internal teams.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain daily site logs and prepare weekly status reports using integrated project software tools.
Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and authorities to ensure smooth execution and inspections.
Compliance and Safety: Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards on site. Promote lean construction principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Skills:
Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Supervisor in large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects
Technical education or degree in construction, engineering, or a related field
Strong knowledge of HSSE standards and practices
Fluent in both German and English
