Site Manager

My client is a reputable and highly regarded residential building contractor specialising in the construction of sustainable, high-quality bespoke homes across Dorset and Hampshire.


They are looking for an experienced and conscientious Site Manager with an eye for detail to join their team and deliver building projects to their extremely high standards. They would also consider an experienced Assistant Site Manager who is looking to take the step up into Site Management.


Taking a positive and proactive approach to this role, you will be responsible for managing Sites and ensuring programmes are met on time and to budget on projects.


You will have the following attributes:

  • Exacting standards and an eye for detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
  • Organised and like to plan ahead.
  • A positive and assertive approach to leadership with effective team management.
  • Excellent client facing and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident communicator to all stakeholders with a professional manner on the phone and in person.

Essentially required:

  • At least 5 years construction management experience within the residential sector.
  • Experience of running projects from GBP300,000 to GBP3M.
  • SMSTS.
  • Knowledge of CDM and Building Regulations.
