Qualifications

Site Manager - Groundwork's

Salary: 47,000 to 55,000 Plus Package

Location: Sites based between Teesside and Thirsk

About the Company

A well-established, family-run construction services provider with over 50 years of industry experience. Specialising in large-scale groundworks projects for national housebuilders and civil infrastructure, the company is known for its high standards, safety focus, and long-term client relationships. Due to continued growth and project demand, they are expanding their skilled team.

Role Overview

They are looking for a Site Manager to join their Groundworks Division. Currently employing approximately 150 staff.

The day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Overseeing Health & Safety and Quality across the site
  2. Supervising on-site personnel
  3. Managing daily site activities
  4. Collaborating with the Contracts Manager
  5. Programming and planning
  6. Conducting toolbox talks and H&S inspections
  7. Attending site meetings
  8. Recording potential changes and updating Project Managers / Quantity Surveyors
  9. Managing permits and more
Candidate Requirements
  • Background in Residential Groundworks and Civil Engineering
  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification
  • Relevant CSCS Card (ideally Gold or Black)
  • Full clean driving license (preferred)
