Are you an experienced Site Manager with a passion for heritage restoration and a proven track record in ironwork repairs on Grade II listed buildings? Our client, a specialist contractor renowned for their work on historic structures, is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to lead the refurbishment of a prestigious listed building in Richmond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of the project.
  • Supervise all site personnel, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Manage site logistics, plant, materials, and PPE.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager to monitor progress, costs, and technical issues.
  • Maintain site diaries, reports, and quality control documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five listed building restoration projects, with at least three involving significant cast iron, ironmongery, or ironwork repairs.
  • SMSTS certification and Site Manager CSCS card.
  • Strong understanding of civils, structural, and M&E engineering.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel.
  • First Aid at Work certification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
