We are recruiting an Experienced Site Manager to oversee a major Passivhaus Capital project in Enniskillen — the first of its kind in Northern Ireland. This project offers an opportunity to be part of history, delivering cutting-edge construction while meeting Passivhaus standards for energy efficiency and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Delivery: Manage all on-site activities to ensure timely, within-budget, and high-quality project completion.
  2. Leadership: Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering collaboration and high morale.
  3. Compliance: Ensure adherence to Passivhaus principles, building regulations, health & safety, and environmental standards.
  4. Programme Management: Coordinate construction schedules, mitigate risks, and address challenges proactively.
  5. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, and the community.
  6. Record-Keeping and IT: Maintain detailed records to meet Passivhaus standards, utilizing strong IT and documentation skills.
  7. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve challenges proactively to ensure smooth project progression.
  8. Reporting: Provide accurate progress updates to management and clients.
  9. Site Quality and Safety: Uphold quality control and safety standards consistently.
Requirements

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale projects (£50M+).
  • Strong knowledge of Passivhaus principles and energy-efficient construction practices.
  • Understanding of construction health & safety regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and programmes effectively.
  • Proficiency with IT systems, including project management software.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience delivering public-sector projects.
  • Knowledge of advanced sustainable construction techniques.
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management or equivalent.
  • Membership of a professional body (e.g., CIOB).
