Industrial Connected Talent is partnering with a specialist electrical and automation engineering business to recruit a Site Manager – Electrical & Automation. You will lead site teams and oversee electrical installation projects across industrial automation environments.

The role requires coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors, delivering on time, within budget and to quality and safety standards, with travel across the UK to project sites.

Qualifications

  • Strong electrical background with experience supervising or managing industrial installation projects in automation or controls environments.
  • Experience supervising electrical installations on site and coordinating project activities.
  • Knowledge of electrical standards and safe working practices.

Industrial Connected Talent is supporting a specialist electrical and automation engineering business in the search for an experienced Site Manager.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing site teams and delivering electrical installation projects safely, on time and to the required quality standards. The role will involve coordinating labour, materials, subcontractors and project activity across industrial automation and controls projects.

Responsibilities for Site Manager – Electrical & Automation

As Site Manager, you will oversee electrical installation activity and ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, budget, quality and health and safety requirements. You will work closely with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors and customers throughout delivery.

  • Plan and coordinate site activities, labour and project resources
  • Supervise electrical installation teams and subcontractors
  • Manage materials, equipment and procurement requirementsEnsure work complies with electrical standards, regulations and project specifications
  • Maintain project, compliance and site documentation
  • Enforce health and safety requirements across all site activity
  • Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions
  • Liaise with customers and internal project teams throughout delivery
Requirements for Site Manager – Electrical & Automation

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background with experience supervising or managing industrial installation projects within automation or control systems environments.

  • Proven experience in electrical installations, site supervision or site management
  • Background within industrial automation, controls or systems integration
  • Strong knowledge of electrical standards and safe working practices
  • Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and project priorities
  • Strong organisation, leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working across both site and office environments
  • Test and inspection qualification would be advantageous
