Job summary

SES Engineering Services is seeking an Electrical Site Manager for our Central region, based at the Wayland project near Thetford. The role supports the Project Manager in programme development, look-ahead planning, and equipment/materials scheduling while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

You will report to the Senior Site Manager and lead daily actions, conduct on-site meetings, review drawings for buildability, manage sub-contractor information, and assist with MIRS.

Qualifications

• Electrical site management experience.
• Ability to coordinate construction activities on-site.
• Experience liaising with subcontractors and design teams.
• Knowledge of document control and MIRS processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop a daily action plan focusing on productivity and people management.
• Attend or chair on-site progress meetings with subcontractors.
• Review design drawings for buildability and raise RFIs as needed.
• Manage subcontractors' design information to fit the programme on site.
• Assist the Project Manager/Technical Manager with MIRS production and monitoring.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Site Managers are a valuable part of our business, the focus of this role will be to support the Project Manager in development of the construction programme, short term look ahead planning reports and equipment and materials schedules. Also providing excellent customer satisfaction and successfully manage staff performance on the project.

As our Site Manager (Electrical)you will report directly into our Senior Site Manager and carry out theseduties:

• Develop a daily key action plan that includes productivity and people management


• Attend/Chair internal meetings with sub-contractors on site progress


• Review design drawings for buildability and co-ordination, raising RFI where appropriate


• Manage the flow of sub-contractor's design information as delegated by the Project Manager to suit the programme of works on site


• Assist the Project Manager and or Technical Manager to produce and monitor the MIRS
