Job description

Project Manager and a Site Manager - based in Telford and Midlands area.

Qualifications and Experience

Must have experience in Internal Fit-out or Refurbishment, specifically in Partitions, Wall finishes, Suspended Ceilings, Joinery, and Metsec.

Applicants without the above experience will not be considered.

Position Overview

We are expanding and have created new opportunities for a Project Manager and a Site Manager to develop within our organization, focusing on internal finishes for residential schemes across the UK, including apartments, warehouses, offices, and student accommodations. This is a great chance to influence a growing sector with potential for career progression.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager

1. Manage a team of Site Managers.
2. Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors/Estimators to deliver internal finishes on various residential projects.
3. Assist with recruitment and team development.
4. Review design and detail specifications.
5. Implement and monitor health & safety systems.
6. Manage client relationships and development.
7. Ensure high-quality finishes exceeding industry standards.
8. Oversee material procurement and scheduling.
9. Manage up to three sites simultaneously, with project values from GBP250k to GBP1m.
10. Handle plant requisition and management of subcontractors.
11. Report to directors or board level.
12. Manage drawing and information distribution internally and externally.

Qualifications and Certifications

• SMSTS, CSCS Blue/Black, First Aid (3-day), PASMA.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have experience managing production staff, trades, and subcontractors such as roofing, dry liners, carpenters, etc., across multiple projects.
