About the job

The Data Center team designs and operates sophisticated electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. Facility Technicians support physical facilities, including heating, cooling, power supply, generators, UPS, electrical distribution, and control systems. Responsibilities include inspecting, maintaining, and repairing data center systems, reading blueprints, conducting tours, and assessing system operations.

You will develop strategies to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency, ensure environmental and safety standards, and manage performance issues and outages to minimize recovery time.

The Data Center Operations team maintains Google's global data centers, ensuring safety, reliability, efficiency, and sustainability. We operate advanced electrical infrastructure, HVAC, and cooling systems, working as a diverse and creative team dedicated to excellence.

Responsibilities
