Job description

Site Manager

Location: Worcester

Rate: £300 £320 per day

Contract Length: 6 months

Start Date: July 2025

Were recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to take the lead on a high-profile project within a live critical infrastructure facilityin Worcester.

The Role

As Principal Contractor, youll be responsible for the successful on-site delivery of a complex scope of works involving civil, mechanical, and electrical packages. You will coordinate and manage multiple subcontractors, ensuring all works are completed safely, on time, and in line with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily site operations, reporting to the Project Manager
  • Manage and coordinate civils, M&E, and specialist subcontractors
  • Ensure strict compliance with CDM regulations and all relevant H&S standards
  • Maintain excellent communication with stakeholders and on-site teams
  • Monitor progress, resolve issues, and keep works on schedule
  • Deliver works in a live environment with minimal disruption to existing services

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing complex, multidisciplinary construction projects.
  • Hold a Mechanical or Electrical background.
  • Strong understanding of CDM regulations
  • Background in critical infrastructure (utilities, defence, healthcare, etc.) highly desirable
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certified
  • Ability to start at short notice
