Job description

Ivy Resource Group are currently looking to hire a Site Manager to join one of our clients on a permanent basis in Gloucester, Gloucestershire.

The company:

Our client operates across 3 divisions: Construction, Shopfitting & Interiors and General Works. They have been in business for over 60 years with annual revenues of 100m. They are actively recruiting for a Site Manager to join their Construction & General Works division.

The role entails:

1. Managing the teams and sub-contractors on site
2. Liaising with clients
3. Compliance with Building Regulations and structural warranty standards
4. Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project
5. Coordinating site materials including call offs, stock control and storage
6. Reviewing progress and liaising with Quantity Surveyors to monitor costs

What are we looking for?

1. A strong background as a Site Manager
2. Strong IT Skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
4. Proactive with the ability to work and manage time effectively
5. Relevant industry qualifications - SMSTS and 1st Aid

Benefits:

Salary:

50,000 - 55,000 dependent on experience + car allowance / company car (440 per month)
