Job Description:

Our client, specialising in roofing, cladding, rainscreen, and envelope solutions, based near Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, with over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. They partner with clients from inception to project completion for projects worth up to £4 million. They are looking to appoint a Site Manager to oversee cladding and roofing projects nationwide.

Experience in installing and managing various roofing systems such as composite, built-up, flat roofing, and façade systems is required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing aspects of roofing and cladding façade projects, typically 1 or 2 simultaneously, including all types of composite and built-up systems/rain screens.
• Liaising with the design team regarding issues and amendments to drawings.
• Arranging subcontractor quotes and obtaining suitable RAMS.
• Organising, supervising, and training subcontractors and employed cladders on-site, ensuring progress and addressing defects as needed.
• Producing programmes for subcontractors, monitoring progress, and reporting to clients.
• Creating daily and weekly progress, safety, and quality reports.
• Preparing and distributing RAMS, ensuring understanding and compliance.
• Conducting toolbox talks.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid UK driving license.
• CSCS Card qualification.
• Preferred qualifications include SSSTS or SMSTS, IPAF, First Aid, CPCS Slinger Signaller, PASMA, RAMS training, Working at Heights certification.
