Site Manager – Commercial & Industrial Solar PV

We're working with a fast-growing renewable energy company specialising in commercial and industrial solar PV projects. With a solid pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering high-quality installations, they're expanding their delivery team and looking for an experienced Site Manager to join them.

You don’t need solar experience, this role is ideal for someone from a construction, fit-out or M&E background, especially with experience managing live or operational environments like hospitals, schools, or commercial spaces.

The Role:

As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. You’ll lead day-to-day site operations, manage subcontractors, and act as the key point of contact on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the on-site delivery of commercial & industrial solar PV installations
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades on active job sites
• Maintain rigorous health & safety standards across all activities
• Communicate clearly with internal project managers, clients, and other stakeholders
• Keep accurate site records and ensure timely reporting and progress tracking
• Oversee quality control and ensure adherence to design/specification

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong site management experience from construction, fit-out, or M&E backgrounds
• Background working on live sites (e.g. healthcare, education, commercial refurb) is highly valued
• Comfortable managing teams, resolving site-level issues, and ensuring safe delivery
• SMSTS or SSSTS, plus First Aid certification is highly beneficial
• Open to travel and overnight stays as needed
• An interest in renewable energy is great, but full solar training will be provided
