We are looking for a hands-on, experienced Site Manager to take the lead on a major 132kV grid connection project for a Solar PV site in Nottingham. Responsibilities
  • Lead the build: Manage all civil and electrical installation activities for the project.
  • Run the site like a pro: Plan work schedules, track KPIs, manage rosters, and ensure zero-compromise on safety.
  • Coordinate with contractors: Oversee third-party teams and ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Control the budget: Work closely with the commercial team on reporting, costs, and forecasts.
  • Champion safety & quality: Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Be the company's face on-site: Engage with landowners, stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Drive results: Ensure work is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Full & current UK driving licence
  • SMSTS & First Aid at Work certifications
  • CSCS Black Card
  • Proven track record in site management for civil/electrical infrastructure
  • Strong Health, Safety & Environmental awareness
  • Ability to interpret electrical and construction drawings
  • Experience with Electrical Isolation (LOTO) procedures (LV & HV)

Preferred

  • Electrical qualifications & HV experience
  • Civil/Construction qualifications
  • Experience managing utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar or battery storage)
  • Knowledge of commercial contracts & budget management
