A construction recruitment agency is looking for an experienced Site Manager for a 6-month temporary contract overseeing a housing development in Northern Ireland. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of management experience in residential projects and excellent interpersonal skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years General Foreman / Site Management experience.
  • Experience in traditional residential builds.
  • Carpentry / joinery or trade background preferred.

Site Manager

The Role

INFORM3 Construction Recruitment are keen to speak with Site Managers for Housing Projects in the Antrim Area.

I am currently recruiting for a medium size contractor that specialises is residential projects in Norther Ireland. They have a requirement for a Site manager on a 6-month temporary contract to oversee a 50 unit housing development. There is a potential for this expending for a longer period.

Responsibilities
  • Running overall site duties
  • Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the specification programme
  • Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
  • Ensuring work is carried out safely to the highest of standards
  • Managing health and safety delivery on site
  • Attending weekly management team meeting
  • Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
  • Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years General Foreman / Site Management experience, preferably within large sites
  • Experience in traditional residential builds
  • Carpentry / joinery or trade background preferred
  • Extensive experience in effective management of sub-contractors
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
  • PC Skills to complete timesheets, requisitions etc
