Job description

Job objectives and responsibilities
Ensure the Compliance standards are met for all buildings as required under contract.
To take a lead role in the day-to-day management of the site.
To provide support to the Account Manager as required.
To liaise with Sub Contractors, customers, and other stakeholders.
This role is site-based at Dunfermline.

Main duties
To carry out PPM and Reactive works in line with skills set/qualifications.
To fully utilise and understand the customer's contract-specific systems, providing training and guidance as required.
Ensuring the successful management of the Hard FM services element as outlined within the contractual documents.
Management of visiting sub-contractors, including regular contractor audits.
Issuing permits and risk assessments where required.
To provide support, leadership, and guidance for other engineers/operatives.
Engaging with customers and sub-contractors to provide quotes for additional works in line with contract requirements.
Ensuring all contractual KPI's and SLA's are met.
Taking a proactive approach to H&S, including reporting Near Misses and Hazards.
Providing management information and analysis for reports.
Ensuring statutory and non-statutory certification is received, remedials are captured and actioned, and recorded.
Carrying out site inspections and audits, closing out actions.
Adopting a flexible attitude to assist on other properties within the portfolio.
All duties are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Working in a safe and diligent manner.
Complying with all H&S policies.
Participating in training and appraisals.
Undertaking additional duties as required.

Person Specification
Recognised trade qualification to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent.
Proven experience managing a team.
Understanding of financial and commercial decision-making.
Experience working with on-site customers in demanding environments.
Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
Strong customer care focus.
Good communication skills.
Proactive and flexible approach.
