Job description

Site Manager - Oxford

£400 - £450 per day CIS

2-week initial contract, starting next Tuesday after the bank holiday.

Requirements:
  • Thames Water pass, SMSTS, and CSCS required
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure works comply with all H&S legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Manage site H&S documentation, RAMS, and paperwork
  • Oversee site activities and liaise with engineers and customers
  • Conduct site inductions and daily safety briefings
  • Maintain site security and safety notices
  • Ensure public pedestrian routes are maintained to NRSWA standards
  • Provide and maintain welfare facilities
  • Arrange Fire Marshall and First Aid cover
  • Provide progress and inspection reports
  • Coordinate with management and engineering staff
  • Report accidents, incidents, near misses, or hazards as per client procedures
Candidate Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar role
  • Degree or HNC in Mechanical Field
  • SMSTS certification (mandatory)
  • CSCS Black Card
  • Experience with RAMS
  • Thames Water Pass
  • Experience dealing with contractors
  • Managed teams of 10+ contractors
