Job Description

We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a Site Manager for our project based at Scottish Waters Tarbert Water Treatment Works in Argyll.

The site is fairly remote, so candidates will need to work away from home (with appropriate subsistence allowances provided). A civils background is preferred, but we would consider someone with some mechanical bias too.

You will report directly to the Project Manager and be responsible for overseeing the construction processes, ensuring safety standards are met, and managing site personnel.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily site operations and supervise construction activities.
  2. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  3. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
  4. Report project progress to senior management.
