Post: Site Manager
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week, full year, permanent (Monday to Thursday 10.00am 6.30pm/Friday 10.00am 6.00pm).

Start date: As soon as possible

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Site Manager to work in our inclusive school

The successful candidate will:

  • Support the Headteacher and Business Manager in providing high standards for the children at the school.
  • Have high expectations and standards in all areas.
  • Be willing to operate the electronic energy management system.
  • Be responsible for the security of the school premises and its contents.
  • Undertake general repairs.
  • Undertake adhoc and routine cleaning duties around the school.
  • Comply with Health & Safety requirements and other relevant legislation.
  • Carry out fire alarm checks and maintain appropriate records.
  • Conduct regular checks of the school grounds.
  • Be responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to and from the school, particularly in adverse weather conditions (e.g., clearing snow, gritting etc).
  • Be able to work confidently in a primary school setting.
  • Be approachable on a professional level.
  • Be aware and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, security and confidentiality.
  • Other duties as outlined in the job description.
  • Be flexible with their hours to cover absences and complete projects on extra hours.
  • Take holiday entitlement during the school holidays.
