A leading construction and engineering firm is seeking a Site Manager for the Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance project. The role involves managing on-site teams for the delivery of large-scale water infrastructure projects. Candidates must have a relevant engineering background, strong experience in M&E/construction, and necessary safety certifications. The Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) project involves planning, design and construction of approximately 320 km of new strategic, large diameter, clean water interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure across Anglian Water's region. The SPA Alliance is also responsible for a future interconnector pipeline programme of a further 260 km of strategic interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure. This role involves site management of projects from inception to completion. It is a site-based role requiring regular communication with the delivery team based in the local office. Working with the Project Delivery Manager (PDM), the Site Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of Supervisors, delivery teams and sub-contractors on site, ensuring the effective use of time and resources to meet budgets and delivery programmes. The Site Manager will implement and monitor health, safety, quality, environmental and performance standards and ensure work complies with water industry regulations and AW approved standards.
