Qualifications

Overview

The Staffing Network is a labour provider across the UK.

Due to our clients' continued growth and planned expansion plans, we have an immediate vacancy for a Site Manager to be based out of Scunthorpe.

Responsibilities
  • Managing multiple contracts and operatives
  • Responsible for the day to day running of site projects, delivering a hassle free process for our current and future clients.
  • Responsible for material ordering, plant and labour allocation.
  • Responsible for collating operatives weekly timesheets, expenses and presenting these to the operations manager weekly and in an appropriate format.
  • Maintaining Health and Safety whilst on site in compliance with company and environmental policies.
  • Report to the operations manager weekly and/ or daily as to site progress, labour resource, material scheduling, plant scheduling and general feedback.
  • Meeting tight deadlines and overcoming challenges as they arise, being able to adapt and be flexible where required.
  • Maintain a high level of service at all times.
  • Attending Site Visits when necessary with the operations manager for purpose of quotation.
  • Assist the operations manager in the company's vision to offer a seamless, hassle free, professional service that is unrivalled, being the go between from the operations manager and site.
  • To be proactive and 'buy in' to the companies goals and vision for future expansion through hard work and professionalism.
Key Skills
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years' experience within the construction industry in a supervisory or managerial role at site level - house building would be advantageous.
  • Ideally have a base trade whereby your skill set can be utilised as a 'working foreman'
  • Full UK Driving License with no more than 3 penalty points.
  • Strong Leadership Skills
