Connect Appointments are actively seeking a Site Manager to join our client in the scenic location of Islay!


Our established client has secured a civils and engineering project with a prestigious Scottish manufacturer that requires a suitably skilled and experienced Site Manager to look after the project.


The works will involve staying away from home on one of Scotland's most beautiful islands, Islay, working an 11 day fortnight then returning back to site after 3 days off.


The ideal Site Manager will be able to cover the CDM regulations for the site, be able to monitor and drive forward the works, which will involve the installation of plant and machinery and ancillary pipework in a drinks environment.


This will involve monitoring, site contractors, site rules, working with the client to ensure clear and up to date information is being delivered, so that the project can be delivered on time.


Pay rate: £300 per day, travel and accommodation will be taken care of for you


Duration: 3 to 4 months


What we need from you:



  • Previous experience on similar projects, ideally within the drinks industry

  • Valid First Aid/SMSTS qualifications and CSCS card

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
