Overview

My client are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to oversee a large industrial unit refurbishment in the Scarborough area on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be adept at coordinating multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Day-to-day

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
• Communicate with project stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns
• Monitor and track project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation
• Coordinate and lead regular meetings with subcontractors and project teams to review progress and identify any potential issues
• Keep detailed project documentation and records up to date
• Drive site progress

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee day-to-day project activities on construction sites
• Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
• Manage and monitor construction schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure optimal project efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on site
• Communicate and problem-solve effectively with all project stakeholders to address any issues or concerns

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Manager in industrial or refurbishment construction projects
• Proven ability to manage construction roles and lead a diverse team of subcontractors and workers
