Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking an experienced Site Manager for on-site delivery in Barnoldswick, GBR. The role focuses on safe execution of concurrent projects, CDM compliance, and meeting client standards in safety, quality, and programme.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Health and safety leadership to your site delivery team and promote behavioural safety improvements.
  • Support the project risk management process and ensure effective controls are established to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the project.
  • Support project opportunities where identified, to realise, maintain and improve the commercial project performance.
  • Promote and maintain effective client/stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance the company's reputation at site level.
  • Ensure mandatory reporting of KPI's, Good Catches/Near Misses, accidents and incidents per procedures.
  • Ensure suppliers, sub-contractors and workforce follow Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Engineering standards.
  • Carry out regular toolbox talks.
  • Carry out daily activity briefings sub-contractors.
  • Maintain accurate records of works and expenditure to project manager.
  • Order general materials to complete the project.
  • Coordinate all activities on site.
  • Issue permits in compliance with CDM.
  • Liaise with Client’s Project Manager to ensure works are delivered as per workbook.
  • Carry out regular site manager safety audits and report findings.
  • Deliver projects to programme as set by senior management.
  • Lead team to meet management expectations and drive high performance across the project.
  • Enhance contract delivery to maintain high quality and programme delivery.
  • Ensure works comply with British Standards and client standards.
  • Provide trade knowledge and support for quality and performance.

Role Purpose

Responsible for the safe execution of concurrent projects for various sites.

As part of the role the site manager must ensure that the projects are delivered to meet JLLWorkplace Management UK&I and client standards in regards to safety, quality and programme, whilst complying as a Principle Contractor with current CDM legislation. Site managers must be qualified in a related trade, mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, building fabric, roofing etc.

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years industry experience and a demonstrable career, ideally working on Design and Build infrastructure, civil engineering, fabric or fit out projects for well-established clients.

Responsibilities
