RG Setsquare is seeking an experienced Site Manager for managing long-term residential and educational refurbishment projects. The candidate should possess strong leadership and communication skills, an excellent understanding of health and safety protocols, and a proven track record in delivering projects valued between £1 million and £3 million. This opportunity requires a proactive individual who can effectively lead a team and ensure compliance with regulations and budgets.
My client, a well-run Building Contractor, is looking for a Site Manager to work on a long-term residential and educational retrofit refurbishment framework – modular. The Site Manager will be responsible for the delivery of the project, must be an effective communicator, and be able to successfully lead and develop a large team.
The desired Site Manager must have the following:
Key responsibilities include controlling all aspects of health and safety on-site, programming work schedules, monitoring building progress to ensure compliance with regulations and budget constraints. You will manage site inductions, method statements, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and permits to work. Your remit will also include logistics planning, plant and labour resource management, as well as conducting progress meetings with the site team and subcontractors.
Profile:
To be considered, you must have a strong construction Site Management background and have previously worked for a reputable contractor. Demonstrating a strong track record of delivering high-profile projects is essential.
