Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a diligent and self-motivated individual to join our team, and make a strong contribution in promoting our school's high standards in all areas of school life. Our Site Manager will lead and manage the facilities, ensuring compliance safety in all areas, and oversee our Site and Cleaning teams. They will liaise with all stakeholders to co-ordinate maintenance and capital works within the school in line with agreed plans, and demonstrate best practice in the management and day to day operation of the school premises. The successful candidate will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. References will be sought and the successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

This role is based at Reepham High School & College, an 11-18 comprehensive school in Norfolk, serving a wide catchment area. The school has approximately 1,100 students in total, including 240 in the sixth form, and works to improve GCSE results while A Level performance remains among the top 10% nationally for progress.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the facilities, ensuring safety and compliance in all areas.
• Oversee the Site and Cleaning teams and liaise with stakeholders to coordinate maintenance and capital works in line with agreed plans.
• Demonstrate best practice in the management and day-to-day operation of the school premises.
• Carry out general site management duties including site security, maintenance and repair work, and emergency call outs.
• Undertake statutory and compliance activities and health and safety checks.
• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness to support the welfare of all users of the premises.
