Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering critical water infrastructure projects under the Thames Water AMP8 framework. This role is ideal for a proactive and safety-focused professional with a strong background in the water or utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all on-site operations to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project delivery.

Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.

Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, environmental standards, and company policies.

Maintain accurate site documentation, including RAMS, permits to work, and daily records.

Liaise effectively with clients, engineers, and the wider project team.

Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and deliver toolbox talks.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager in the water or utilities sector, ideally on AMP frameworks.

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) - Essential

Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.

Valid CSCS card - Preferred

First Aid at Work - Desirable

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
