Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager to join a regional contractor working on several new build and refurbishment projects in the residential, healthcare, commercial and education sectors across the Oxfordshire region, on a full time, permanent basis.

In this role as a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects typically valued between £300k to £5M.

Requirements
  • Must have hands-on experience in delivering complex projects, often listed, under pressure and on time.
  • You should have experience working with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the project\'s success throughout.
  • You\'ll need to be an excellent communicator and confident in managing site teams and subcontractors.
  • You should also be able to plan projects in detail, keeping things on track and meeting deadlines without compromising on quality or safety.
  • Construction-related degree (desirable).
  • A trade background will be considered.
  • Full UK Driving License
Responsibilities
  • Manage the site and ensure adherence to all policies, procedures and standards using specified drawings and instructions, within budget and on programme.
  • Ensure that all work is kept on programme and that all details as specified in the drawings and instructions are adhered to.
  • Monitor and drive quality, safety and environmental systems and promote a safety culture in full support of our excellent delivery values and ethos.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety, quality and environmental legislation as well as compliant with the policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the roles and responsibilities matrix for the project.
  • Promote, encourage and manage effective teamwork and a good team environment.
  • Coach and motivate the site teams and lead by example.
