Job summary

Reed in Ipswich is seeking a senior leader to own the overall performance of a manufacturing and process production site. You will oversee production, stock control, HSE, compliance, budgets and continuous improvement, while collaborating closely with the Engineering Manager.

Candidates from manufacturing or chemical environments with strong leadership experience are encouraged. This is a highly autonomous, technically focused leadership role with substantial scope and accountability.

The Opportunity

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the overall performance of a manufacturing and process production site. You'll be responsible for overseeing production, stock control, HSE, compliance, budgets, resource management, continuous improvement initiatives and team performance, whilst working closely alongside the Engineering Manager.

The Environment

The business operates within a chemical manufacturing and process production environment, supplying key sectors including food, energy and water. This is a highly regulated industrial setting where safety, quality and operational excellence are at the forefront of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
