Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years construction experience managing projects, programmes and H&S requirements.
• Experience in Energy Efficiency and/or social housing is desirable.
• Strong planning and reporting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue weekly progress reports to the contract team.
• Review RAMS and ensure H&S compliance on sites and for the company.
• Monitor master programme and ensure labour and sub-contractors are procured to meet the schedule.
• Conduct weekly toolbox talks with site teams and subcontractors.
• Plan and organise site facilities and logistics; ensure equipment is fit for purpose.
• Oversee material requisition and timely deliveries in line with procurement.
• Ensure workmanship and material standards meet designs, regulations, and quality standards.
• Liaise with surveyors on cost control, waste management, and change instructions.
• Organise and chair weekly client/contractor review meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities for traceability.
• Carry out safety inspections as per the company policy.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring weekly progress reports are completed and issued to contract team.
• Review all required RAMS and ensure H&S of sites and company is fulfilled.
• Regularly monitor and liaise with the reporting Manager regarding the master programme, ensuring adequate labour and sub-contractor resources are procured and able to meet the programme.
• Carry out weekly toolbox briefings to the site teams and sub-contractors.
• Plan and efficiently organise the site facilities and logistics, ensuring all equipment on site is fit for purpose and only operated by appropriately trained staff.
• Requisition all materials and oversee the deliveries and ensure they are done so in adequate time in line with the construction programme and procurement schedule.
• Ensure workmanship and material standards are achieved in accordance with designs, specifications, building regulations, health and safety legislation as well as quality standards.
• Liaise with surveyors regarding cost control, waste management, variations and confirmation of instructions.
• Organise and chair weekly client / contractor review meetings.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of own activity related to projects to enable traceability.
• Carrying out safety inspections and fulfilling the health, safety and welfare responsibilities as detailed in the Company’s policy.

• Knowledge of current PAS2030 & 2035 requirements(desirable)

Experience:
