Job summary

ionic Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead on Grade II listed and heritage projects. The role involves overseeing historic buildings, coordinating subcontractors and trades, and ensuring meticulous workmanship across multiple sites.

The successful candidate will travel as needed, stay away from home during weeks of work, and maintain strict adherence to heritage construction standards with excellent organisation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager.
• Previous experience on Grade II listed buildings – essential.
• Experience with older, traditional or heritage properties.
• Strong knowledge of managing sites, subcontractors and trades.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to travel and stay away during the working week.

SITE MANAGER - GRADE II LISTED & HERITAGE PROJECTS

We're looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team, working on a range of historic and traditional buildings, including Grade II listed properties.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has genuine experience working on listed buildings and understands the care, attention to detail and specialist considerations that come with heritage projects.

• Location: Ideally Warrington / Northwich
• Travel: Projects across Yorkshire & Cumbria
• Accommodation: Provided when staying away
• Office: Minimum 1 day per week

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager
• Previous experience working on Grade II listed buildings - essential
• Experience working on older, traditional or heritage properties
• Strong knowledge of managing sites, subcontractors and trades
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A full UK driving licence
• Flexibility to travel and stay away during the working week

The projects are varied and involve working on some fantastic historic buildings, so we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and has a genuine understanding of heritage construction.
