Un client dans le secteur public recrute un Site Manager pour gérer les opérations de construction. La position est temporaire avec un tarif de £24 par heure, et le rôle nécessite des certifications et compétences spécifiques en gestion de construction.
A client within the Public Sector based inthe Northeast is currently recruiting for a Site Manager to join their Construction Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a construction and maintenance environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is toprovide day-to-day management and organisation of all assigned operational staff, internal and external subcontractors, carrying out construction projects and associated works across the County Durham Council estate. This includes ensuring safe systems of work, maintaining accurate financial/job records, and delivering financially successful, quality assured, and timely projects.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Operational management of Foremen, Chargehands, tradespeople, apprentices, and framework subcontractors
• Leadership and guidance to operational staff and ensuring value for money
• Monitoring performance targets, budgets, health and safety compliance, and quality assurance
• Resolving technical/logistical project issues and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Promoting internal services and integrating work practices across the organisation
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require:
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a building/construction services discipline
• 5-day SMSTS certification
• CSCS Management Card
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
• Strong IT, organisational, and communication skills
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems and a range of construction techniques
• Experience in construction project supervision and operational management
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £24 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £20 per hour PAYE).
