Job description

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee fire risk assessment (FRA) works and joinery-related projects across the North East. This role offers the potential to move into a permanent position for the right candidate. You will be responsible for managing site teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering high-quality workmanship on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise site operations for FRA remedial works and joinery projects.

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour.

• Ensure health and safety compliance, including RAMS and site inductions.

• Liaise with clients, surveyors, and project teams to resolve any on-site issues.

• Monitor progress against the programme and ensure quality standards are met.

• Handle snagging, handovers, and associated documentation.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Manager within FRA works or a strong joinery background.

• SMSTS certification.

• CSCS (Black or Gold Card preferred).

• First Aid at Work certificate.

• Strong organisational and leadership skills.

• Excellent knowledge of FRA remedial processes and joinery practices.
