Job summary

Mane Contract Services seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead a major energy infrastructure project in Newport, South Wales. You will oversee civils works, coordinate cable installation, manage subcontractors, and ensure on-time delivery against the programme.

The role requires proven civils/site management background, experience on onshore wind, HV substations or grid projects, and strong HSE, quality and stakeholder management. SMSTS and CSCS qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience on onshore wind, HV substations, grid infrastructure or major electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of civils, cable installation and site delivery.

Job description

We're looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a major energy infrastructure project in Newport, South Wales.

The project involves the installation of approximately 15km of 33kV cable as part of a major substation development. The project is currently progressing through the civils phase, with cable installation to follow.

Ideal background

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within heavy civils / energy infrastructure.
• Experience on onshore wind, HV substations, grid infrastructure or major electrical infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of civils, cable installation and site delivery.
