Job description

Untie People are working with a specialist construction & fitout contractor to hire a Site Manager for the refurbishment of an existing retail development.

The successful Site Manager will oversee a small team undertaking refurbishment, joinery, and M&E works. You will be responsible for managing a small team in a LIVE environment, where safety and client interface are key.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee project schedules and ensure work is completed within deadlines.
• Conduct briefings, maintain diaries, and report progress to senior management.
• Manage permits and ensure all necessary paperwork is in place.
• Manage individual trades teams.
• Ensure work is completed to high standards.
• Set up safety measures and appropriate work spaces and perimeters.
• Maintain quality control checks.

Requirements & experience:

• SMSTS certification
• First Aid certification
• CSCS Card
• Asbestos Awareness certification
• Experience in a fitout environment is preferred.
