Job description

About the Role:

We are working in partnership with a well-established contractor specialising in social housing refurbishment and maintenance projects. As a Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of planned maintenance and refurbishment schemes across occupied housing stock in Greater Manchester and surrounding regions (Northwest)

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering long-term career progression and the chance to work with a supportive and reputable business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all on-site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to budget
  • Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers
  • Maintain excellent relationships with tenants and client representatives
  • Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on social housing projects (planned maintenance or refurbishment)
  • SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS qualifications essential
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to manage multiple trades on occupied and void properties
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across sites
