Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Magherafelt and Belfast
Salary: £45k + van
My client is a leading Construction company based in NI, looking for an experienced Site Manager with previous residential experience.
The opportunity is suitable for someone with 5+ years of experience, including residential construction. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in developing your skills and experience as a successful Site Manager within our Construction Engineering department.
Projects include student accommodation and social housing apartments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the co-ordination and control of the project from the design stage through to completion and handover to the client.
- Ensuring timely management of any unforeseen delays.
- Regular monitoring and liaison with the Contracts Manager/Project Manager on the Master Programme and development of stage/section programmes as required.
- Liaise with the Contracts Manager/Project Manager to ensure adequate labour and sub-contract resource is available on site utilizing the agreed agency list.
- Day-to-day management of operations on site, ensuring that the project is completed successfully and meets the required time, budget, and quality constraints.
- Plan and efficiently organize the site facilities and logistics, ensuring all equipment on site is fit for purpose and only operated by appropriately trained staff.
- Undertake all relevant training and development activities as required.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process as needed.
Education / Experience
- Experience as a lead Site Manager specifically on housing projects.
- Good personnel management skills.
- Site Management Safety Pass.
- Detailed previous project list.
