Site Manager

£55,000-£65,000

Location: London

Gap Construction is recruiting experienced Site Managers on behalf of our client, a well-established name in London's drylining industry. With a strong order book for summer 2025, they are looking for skilled drylining professionals to strengthen their on-site teams.

Performance Objectives
  1. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
  2. Coordinate site activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely project delivery.
  3. Supervise and support site teams to achieve high-quality workmanship.
  4. Maintain site progress reports and communicate updates to project stakeholders.
  5. Manage material deliveries and site logistics to minimize delays.
  6. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
  7. Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
Person Specification
  1. Proven experience in a Site Supervisor role within the drylining industry.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle project challenges effectively.
  4. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  5. Ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring project deadlines are met.
  6. Strong communication skills for liaising with subcontractors, clients, and senior management.
  7. Proficiency in construction management software and reporting tools.
  8. SMSTS certification.
  9. Relevant NVQ qualification.
  10. Background in drylining.
