Site Manager / Construction Manager (Data Centre Admin Building)
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Package
Location: Waltham Cross

Project: Construction of an Administrative Building on a Data Centre Campus
Contract Value: Circa £8m £10m
Programme Duration: 40 weeks
Start Date: End of July
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager / Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a high-specification Administrative Building within a live data centre campus in Waltham Cross. The role involves managing the full construction and fit-out of a new facility that will support operations at the main Data Centre.

Project Overview
This standalone project includes:

• Structural steel frame construction
• Specialist external cladding systems
• Full internal fit-out including offices, kitchen, and breakout areas
• Complete M&E installation package
• External works and landscaping

This is a fast-paced programme with a 40-week delivery window, requiring a focused and experienced individual who can coordinate multiple workstreams in a live campus environment.

Your Role & Responsibilities
As the Site Manager / Construction Manager, you will:

• Oversee and coordinate daily on-site activities to meet programme milestones
• Lead subcontractor management and site logistics
• Enforce H&S procedures and ensure compliance across all operations
• Resolve technical and on-site issues in collaboration with design and delivery teams
• Monitor progress, quality, and documentation including daily records and site reports

What You Need

• Proven experience as a Site or Construction Manager on commercial, industrial, or data centre projects
• Strong understanding of steel frame construction, fit-out, and M&E coordination
• Ability to manage a project independently, reporting to the Contracts Manager or Project Director
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of HSE legislation and site compliance procedures

• Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)
