Role Overview

This position is within our Clean/Waste Water Capital Delivery Team. Our teams deliver schemes such as Clean Water Mains Renewal, Diversions, Sewer renewal, and renovation to support the Yorkshire Water clean and waste water network.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee various clean and waste water projects.
  2. Champion health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  3. Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and standards.
  4. Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental requirements.
  5. Interpret and review project design drawings, challenging designs for feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
  6. Prepare and manage project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Knowledge of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality standards.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Experience in excavation and non-disruptive/no-dig techniques.
  • SSSTS, SMSTS, or equivalent certification.
  • Understanding of the clean water/waste water network and construction techniques.
  • Willingness to learn.
