Qualifications

  • Must have a clean driving license and the ability to travel.
  • Ability to follow policies, work at height, and perform manual handling.

Equans is looking for a Site Manager to join our team in Prescot school, Knowsley Park Lane, L34 3NB on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Shift patterns will vary based on a 40-hour rotational system, between Monday to Friday.

What will you deliver?

  • Undertaking general caretaking duties, including porter services (deliveries, exam set-ups), general maintenance (changing lamps, ceiling tiles), and Planned Maintenance activities (Legionnaires checks, door and light switch checks), working in all weather conditions.
  • Ensuring SLAs and KPIs within the contract are delivered and met.
  • Carrying out opening and closing of the building.
  • Providing support to the school to enable its teaching activities and communicating with school representatives.
  • Undertaking and recording statutory and mandatory planned maintenance duties.
  • Logging reactive maintenance tasks on the Helpdesk, using CAFM system for work order updates.
  • Proactively conducting daily inspections to identify and report issues, ensuring follow-up and resolution within service levels.
  • Testing and recording systems such as emergency lighting and fire alarms to ensure compliance with statutory duties.
  • Using computers, mobile phones, and technical equipment; previous experience is advantageous.
  • Conducting sub-contractor inductions and maintaining records of inductions, DBS checks, and RAMS.
  • Supervising and managing subcontractors on site.
  • Participating in emergency call-outs.
  • Performing any other duties relevant to the Caretaker role.
