Role: Construction Site Manager

Salary: From £45,000 (dependent on experience)

Location: Hull

We have an exciting opportunity for 2 site managers to join our established team at Ashcourt Construction. As a site manager, you’ll be working across a range of sectors from agriculture to retail. As a Site Manager at Ashcourt, you will oversee construction operations to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within the defined timeline and budget. Responsibilities include managing the site team, subcontractors, and direct labour to deliver high-quality, defect-free projects. Adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and legislative requirements is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Update and maintain the Construction Phase Plan, emergency planning, and traffic management plans relevant to the site setup/details.
  2. Ensure commercial awareness and undertake works in the most economical manner.
  3. Organize the works and coordinate both direct labour and subcontractors.
  4. Manage project handover and ensure defect/snag-free completion.
  5. Conduct Weekly Site Inspections.
  6. Follow the Document Control Procedure.

As a Site Manager, you will have:

  1. A full UK driving licence.
  2. Previous relevant industry experience.
  3. Knowledge of CDM regulations, design management, programme, and risk management.
  4. CSCS and SMSTS Cards.
  5. Experience in managing people (desirable but not essential).
