What you'll be doing:
To lead and develop winning teams of departmental managers and frontline teams to provide exceptional service to our clients and customers and deliver great results for ESS. Take responsibility for the delivery of all contracted services, particularly the successful management of the outputs of each of our strategic partners and sub-contractors. Promote the reputation of ESS and ensure that every opportunity is taken to improve service standards and levels of customer satisfaction.

- Manage client and contractual relationships effectively in a highly commercial manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and prioritizing safety in all activities.
- Drive foodservice and support solutions that exceed customer requirements, focusing on continuous improvement, efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Manage contractual relationships with clients, understanding and enhancing commercial opportunities.
- Ensure implementation of all relevant HSE procedures, including risk assessments, incident reporting, and HSE training.
- Provide appropriate HSE information, instruction, training, and supervision to enable safe and effective work practices.
- Establish productive site-level relationships with DIO and single-service clients.
- Review contract performance, identify improvements, and ensure compliance to exceed expectations.
- Deliver budgeted profit by leading departmental managers to meet financial targets.
- Ensure understanding of budgets, hold managers accountable, analyze costs, and identify efficiencies.
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager to update and execute the site CRM and retention plan.
Who you are:
Essential:
- Proven success in managing teams within a highly commercial Soft FM environment.
- Single-site operational experience with a focus on service delivery within quality and performance standards.
- Experience leading successful teams to achieve results.
- Track record of growing sales and retaining clients.
- Background in Foodservice or similar Soft FM services.
- Previous experience managing budgets and P&L responsibilities.
- Effective communication with senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness.
Desirable:
- Soft FM service background and relevant experience.
- Knowledge of food production methods and procedures.
- Self-motivated with adaptability to change.
- Experience in project/change management and contract mobilization.
- IT and computer literacy, including web-based communication tools.
